Kalpa Gupta is a childhood sexual abuse survivor and founder of Knekxt, a consulting company helping her clients build trust, mitigate risk, and grow in profitability and equitability, while also creating internal awareness for the high achievers who, like herself, have used their achievements to deflect from dealing with trauma.
She started her career in research & consulting with NCAER a leading think tank in India., Kalpa then moved to the US, and continued her path of achievement in corporate America, helping American Express, Zelle/Early Warning Services, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Mayo Clinic increase revenues and profitability through strategy, consulting, and diverse operational roles in product, marketing analytics & fraud risk management, before launching her own consulting company.

Like many childhood sexual abuse survivors, she thought she had put the past behind her. It wasn't until Kalpa found herself burnt out from a cycle of trying to "achieve to escape" that she realized the root cause of her problem. What she learned through her healing journey, was that freedom comes from sharing your stories (including with your abusers), high achieving can be an escape tactic and is praised and promoted in hostile work environments -a cycle she hopes to change - and that connection is the key to move from surviving to thriving.
